Our expertise is diversifying, how about you?
As an integral member in the ASSET Reliability Division, your work will include performing equipment and facility condition inspections, compiling and writing reports and technical memorandums, structural design (steel, concrete, timber) on site construction reviews and preparing drawings, estimates, and proposals. This position involves travel to job sites on a short-term basis to perform inspection work and requires the ability to liaise with clients, contractors, and other engineering consultants. The position also involves performing engineering and design for a variety of projects that are often related to the inspection work being performed.
Our essentials
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering and eligibility for registration as an EIT with EGBC
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong attention to detail
- A demonstrated ability to liaise with clients, contractors, and other consultants
- A Willingness to work with a team to complete field inspections of heavy industrial equipment
- A valid BC Driver’s License
- Construction experience is a benefit but is not necessarily required
